"No, no, no, you are driving to fast! Slow down! Push the break Tsuyoshi, not the gas." Koichi gripped his seatbelt tighter. He felt a little bit of regret for always talking about F1 to Tsuyoshi now, apparently his partner take those story of speeding too seriously and apply it on the street. And Tsuyoshi was a novice, which made the entire situation scarier.

"But I'm on the right line, the car behind me would get mad if i don't speed up right?" Tsuyoshi sat rigidly behind the wheel, face serious looking nowhere but the street on the front.

"Then take the left lane, you are still a novice in this. Put on the left signal." Koichi turn around, taking notes of the left side of the road, making sure that the left lane is empty. "Now Tsuyoshi, swerve to the left."

Tsuyoshi obeyed and turn the wheels to the left just a little bit to sharp. And without missing a beat Kochi shouted.

"What are you doing? You need to swerve to the left not turn to the left. That was dangerous." Koichi reached out across and grabbed the wheel and straightened them, while Tsuyoshi could only obeyed and nodded. Just last month Tsuyoshi manage to passed his written driving license and granted his beginner driving license on the street, which mean he were allowed to drive on the street with the accompaniment with someone who already has full driving license. And since Koichi has managed to pass his full driving license last year, he was asked by Tsuyoshi be his accompaniment on the street. Today they have finished work early on the afternoon and Tsuyoshi has asked Koichi to accompany him driving around to polished his driving skills. Tsuyoshi will have another test in 2 weeks and next weeks their tv show will shoot the development on Tsuyoshi driving skills and Tsuyoshi has been honing his driving as much as he can by stealing time between their schedule.

They have been driving aimlessly on the highway for hours now and the sun has headed to set towards the horizon. Koichi took a glance towards Tsuyoshi, who still looked rigid and stiff with hair sticking on his face damp with sweat despite that it was actually winter. Koichi has been there and through that and he knew perfectly how nerve wrecking it was to drive on the road in the early days. And driving under that kind of nerve for hours were bound to drain more from you, so he dared to bet that Tsuyoshi was actually very tired despite his stubbornness.

"Let's finish for the day, we've been driving for hours, get out from the highway Tsuyoshi and stop somewhere near, I'll drive us back."

Tsuyoshi let out disagree sound and gripped the wheel hard, he continued driving straight ahead.

"I need to manage to drive smoothly before the end of this week right. I'm so going to drive coolly in front of TV."

"You're doing well so far, besides when the filming for that comes, I'll make sure I sit next to driver seat and help you throughout. You are stressing about it too much." Koichi pats Tsuyoshi shoulder and reassured him but Tsuyoshi remain stubborn and still set for driving straight despite the sign for an exit has shown.

"Tsuyoshi, you are not thinking of driving out all the way to Nara are you?"

"You don't mind having dinner with my family and sleep at the futon in my room do you?" Without even glance to his side, Tsuyoshi keep on fixed his eyes on the road ahead, and in times glanced towards the rear mirror.

"Tsuyoshi." Koichi let out a reprimanding tone, showed his disagree towards the young man.

"Hai hai, I'm just kidding. I know we have work early tomorrow morning."

"Good. Look there's a rest stop, let's just go there buy some drinks on the mini mart and go back, shall we?" Koichi pointed up to the rest stop that's looming ahead of them. Tsuyoshi nodded and Koichi move to sat straight and started to gave out direction for Tsuyoshi to turn and move the wheel on the right angle to get into the rest stop area and directed Tsuyoshi to park neatly as well.

The car pulled into a stop and Tsuyoshi has managed to park beautifully and suddenly the slumped Tsuyoshi perked up and smiled sweetly. He put on his beanie before he climbed down the car and stop in front of it and just gazed at the car. Koichi could only smile, shaking his head and followed the younger man out of the car while fixing his hat low on his face.

"Didn't I park beautifully?" Tsuyoshi looked up at Koichi with a sweet smile and spread his hands towards the car. He then point at the white marking lane below "I've manage to parked it inside the line without any wheel stepping on it. It's straight, perfect!"

"Hai hai" Koichi could only pat Tsuyoshi on the shoulder and then use his thumbs to point at the conbini over his shoulder "Wanna get your reward?"

"Of course." Tsuyoshi grinned and quickly strolled towards the conbini, while Koichi followed behind and wait outside the conbini. Koichi has always avoided crowded places and rarely go out if it’s not for work related. Their fans could be scary, therefore he found public places intimidating, especially conbini and small stores where there are only one exit, and it makes Koichi felt a little bit insecure. But when it has been more than 5 minutes and Tsuyoshi has not come out, he went inside and found Tsuyoshi leaning over the ice cream freezer looking confused while holding bottles of drinks.

"What's the matter?" Koichi asked looking back and forth between Tsuyoshi and the freezer expecting to find anything other than the usual.

"I was just confused on what to get." Tsuyoshi's hand in his chin as he looked down seriously over the freezer.

"Then just buy all of them."

"Are you stupid? If we are near home, I would but we are hours away, it’s all going to melt before we even reach half way home."

"Then just close your eyes and get one. It's winter anyway why do you want to eat something cold, you are stupid."

"But I can't decide." Tsuyoshi threw his eyes towards the freezer and sighed longingly. Then Koichi open the lids and quickly pick two of the different brands and put it onto Tsuyoshi's hold

"I'll stop to another conbini when we go back tonight, I'll go get the car now." With that he grabbed the key from Tsuyoshi's pocket and went for the car while Tsuyoshi paid for their stuff.

The drive home was quieter; once Tsuyoshi get inside the car he busied himself with the wrapper of his ice creams and only stop to give the opened drinks to Koichi. When there was no other sounds from the man who sat beside him, Koichi took a glance and found Tsuyoshi were fast asleep, head leaning towards the window while his hands was still holding onto the ice cream wrapper. Koichi smiled softly and wonder, he has been with this guy long enough but he still found his partner charming. And to know that Tsuyoshi can fall asleep and trust Koichi to drive them home has elated Koichi. Koichi stoped the car and adjust Tsuyoshi seat and place Tsuyoshi head into a more comfortable position before he continued driving back to their home. After that the rest of the trip was only accompanied with the sweet melody from the radio and a rare smile marred Koichi face when a small whisper of thank you was heard from the guy beside him before Tsuyoshi move into more comfortable position and fall back asleep.
